Sophie Menheere
My name is Sophie Menheere, I’m living in Wiekevorst (Antwerp, Belgium). Grown up with animals, from childhood working and riding horses, we bought our first miniature horse in 2007. For the moment we have a beautiful and very diverse herd with European (NMPRS) and American (AMHA, AMHR) bred miniature horses. With 15 horses, 14 (breeding) mares and 1 stallion, we welcome each year 3 to 4 babies. Beside our breeding program, we also participate in different miniature horse shows in Europe. We enjoy our little horses every day!
In addition to show horses myself, in 2012 Liesbeth and I had the idea to organize an own show, so Mini’s with Spirit was born. What we never expected, became reality. Year after year we welcome record numbers of horses and participants, Mini’s with Spirit did become one of the biggest miniature horse shows in Europe! With motivation at its best and a great team, I hope to make an equally successful show with equuSpirit.
